Billing Manager – NewBuild Telecom Consultants

NewBuild Telecom Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Manager to oversee our billing system. This role is crucial to ensuring accurate and timely bill generation, accounting processes, collections, and the preparation of profit and loss (P&L) statements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

•Manage and maintain the billing system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in bill generation.

•Oversee accounting processes related to billing, including reconciliation and reporting.

•Handle collections, working closely with customers to resolve payment issues while maintaining positive relationships.

•Prepare and analyze P&L statements, providing insights and recommendations for financial improvements.

•Develop and implement billing procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and compliance.

•Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless billing operations and address any discrepancies.

•Provide training and support to staff on billing processes and system usage.

• Monitor and report on key billing metrics and performance indicators.

Requirements:

•Proven experience in a billing or accounting role, preferably in telecommunications or a related industry.

• Strong understanding of billing systems and accounting principles.

•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, with experience in preparing detailed P&L statements.

•Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.

•Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with collections and customer relationship management.

• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
